Sweet Bliss

Updates: I finally decided to change the layout. I was getting a bit tired of seeing pink all the time, and you guys probably did too. Pink is one of my favorite colors, but I felt like it was time for a change, so I came up with this little design. I know it’s not that colorful but I really like how it turned out. In addition, I made 2 free Site Layouts. Other updates include: more Movie Reviews, a new weekly poll, and a few advice submissions that have been answered.

Anyway, today is mine and Bobby’s wedding ‘monthiversary’ (like an anniversary but occurring every month). It’s been 2 months since we got married. It hasn’t been that long but I’m immensely happy to be his wife. Normally we’d be doing something special to celebrate, but he’s not here… It’s been a bit over a month since he left for training in the army. There’s still 4 months to go until we get to see each other again. I can’t wait. We already have some ideas of what we’re gonna do when he gets back and before we move out of Florida. I’m so proud of him for doing this, and although I didn’t agree with his decision to join the army at first, I know it’s been one of the best choices he’s made. Oh and the title refers to our little “love phrase” and it is what I usually write on the letters I send him, hehe. <3

On another note, I’ve watched a lot of horror movies in the past month or so. The ones I can think of right now are The Strangers, Mirrors, The Haunting in Connecticut, The Happening (for the 2nd time), and The Haunting of Molly Hartley. All of them made me scream at some point, haha. They’re the most fun to watch especially when you’re accompanied by your closest friends. The one I liked the most was The Haunting in Connecticut because it was based on the true story and it didn’t have the typical ending in which evil wins and everybody dies. I won’t say more because I don’t wanna spoil it for anyone. So, have you guys watched any of these?

One more thing – I can officially say I’m obsessed with Britney Spears’ song “If U Seek Amy”. The way the little message was hidden in it was very clever, and it’s so catchy! I never get bored of listening to it. Oh, and the video is really good, too. I love the choreography. Wow, this post was really random; I just didn’t know what else to write about. xD Hope you guys have a great week!

Updates: I added 2 new articles and answered some more advice submissions. Thanks guys, keep them coming! Wow, have any of you noticed that every time I blog I have some updates for you guys? And I blog every 3-6 days. Not bad, right? I think I’m gonna try to make that 2-5 instead. I need to stop procrastinating, lol.

Anyway, you’re probably wondering what this post is really about. Well, I was thinking about the way I approach others on the net and realized that there may be some misunderstandings about my persona. I leave comments on sites here and there, and try to visit often. Everything is fine until I say something like “I like the new layout, but the colors are too bright.” The web owner goes all crazy on me and starts saying I’m this and that, blah blah blah.

The funny thing is that there’s only one person who has had a weird, and unexpected reaction to something I’ve said. It wasn’t about a layout, that was just an example, but it made me think about the way I say things. And I actually think I’m pretty nice and not rude at all, even when I’m disagreeing with something. I mean, how can you disagree and sound nice at the same time? It’s hard to avoid sounding like a mean bitch online. I can’t just be LOL-ing after every sentence, you know.

These are a few things I would like you guys to know in advance about the way I talk/comment online.

-First of all, I don’t kiss anybody’s ass. Even if you’re popular, I’ll tell it how it is.
-I’m never rude when disagreeing with something.
-I don’t tell you I don’t like something on your site because I want to bother you; I say it because you asked.
-If I don’t like your layout I’ll tell you why and if it applies, I might tell you what could be changed, but it is, after all, my opinion, so you don’t have to take my advice if you don’t want to.
-I’m not one of those people that say nice things to others just to look good. But of course, if I like something I’ll tell you, even if it’s not mentioned in your blog. (I do that a lot, actually. Like “Hey, I like your smilies!”, for example.)
-I don’t like to start drama. I’m very opinionated, that’s all.
-You may think I’m a very negative commenter, but I’m really not… At least I’m not rude or fake.

Ok, that’s all. I hope anyone who feels like I’ve been mean to them understands that it’s nothing personal and that I was not trying to be mean at all. I doubt a lot of people feel that way but still, just in case.
